This work is part of my ongoing research into how visual abstraction can evoke psychological and emotional states without relying on literal narrative.
Prelude is an experimental animation entirely developed in After Effects. The work is structured as a rhythmic dialogue between opposites: chaos and order, impulse and structure. Through a sequence of successive cycles, chaos breaks in, decomposes, and gives way to a symmetrical and contained response. This constant exchange does not seek resolution but rather sustains friction as a form of breathing.
